We warmed to Jane as soon as we met her (that includes Theo). Her passion and love for her work was so evident. Not only does Jane provide daily updates and pictures of Theo from each visit, she also makes sure our home is secure and plants are watered. What more could we ask for!

“I’d highly recommend Love Cats – and so would my cat!”

I found Love Cats just after I moved to Macclesfield and the service has been fantastic. My cat (who is usually quiet and reclusive with people who aren’t Mum and Dad) absolutely loves Jane. We come back from holiday with a chilled out, happy and purring cat who has had plenty of cuddles and play time from her holiday buddy. Jane sends plenty of videos of play time which are great to see while we’re away. I’d recommend Love Cats without any hesitation whatsoever.

“Nothing is too much trouble”

This is the first time we have used a cat sitting service as our cats usually go to the cattery, but this is by far the better option, the cats are so much more settled staying in their own homes.

Jane is great! She really made the effort to get to know everything about the cats. Nothing is too much trouble, she even offered to water our plants and keep an eye on the house which is a really good bonus! She sends emails and pics of the cats to show you how they are doing, I loved getting the updates. I would highly recommend this service to anyone!

Jane was very friendly and interested in getting to know my cat, Hector. I cannot recommend Love Cats highly enough! Jane came to introduce herself to myself and my cat and looked after Binkie for a week whilst I was abroad.

She sent me daily messages and at least 4 (sometimes more) photos showing me that my treasured cat was being fussed, played with but importantly (and really good) always one of her feeding.

Jane always mentioned what she had done ie checked house and got mail in, changed litter tray etc.
I truly have found a gem in Jane and have already rebooked for 2 more trips.

Before we went away, she took a very detailed account of Amelia’s daily routine and particular likes! Whilst away we received regular e-mails complete with lovely photos. Being able to keep Pennie at home is important as she is a house cat! Also she is a cat of advance years and is on two types of medication which has to be administered twice a day!

Jane went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable with plans for our cat’s care. She took time to visit before hand, and came across as both warm and professional. We were glad to see that she had made the effort to seek credentials such as DBS check, pet first-aid, and insurance for her business.

During our trip, she kept us reassured with daily texts, and a few photos of our dear cat. While the cat care is obviously the most important, it was clear that home security was also very important to Jane, and she even included extras such as houseplant watering, turning on/off lights, and moving bins to the curb. Based on this first experience, I recommend Love Cats service, and plan to hire Jane again soon!

I was extremely happy with the services provided by Love Cats. Jane was excellent – she came to visit me and my cat before I went away and really took note of the things I told her. While I was away she sent me detailed emails of how the visits had gone, and it was clear from the emails that she had paid great attention to my cat and picked up on her behavior patterns. When I returned home it was obvious that my cat had been well taken care of – she was happy and healthy and barely seemed to have missed me at all!

Jane is obviously completely passionate about cats and whenever I get home from a trip, my cat Smudge is always relaxed and very contented. Even when I go away for longer holidays, I now no longer worry about Smudge and know she is well looked after. Jane also ensures that my home is safe and secure – she switches the lights on and off and draws the curtains to give it that lived in look and she even takes time to collect the post, put my wheelie-bin in and out and water my plants! This completely takes away any worries I had of leaving the house and my cat when I go on holiday – I cannot recommend her enough.
